Cancellation and Refund Policy
At CarCID, a brand of Prashasvi Autotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we strive to deliver professional car inspection services to our customers. Please note that all transactions, liabilities, and legal obligations are undertaken by Prashasvi Autotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., as CarCID is not a separate legal entity. Below are the terms concerning cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks
Cancellation by CarCID
CarCID reserves the right to cancel an inspection due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to technical errors, the unavailability of service, or other reasons beyond our control. If a cancellation occurs after a successful payment has been made, the payment will be refunded to the customer’s original payment method, whether by debit card, credit card, bank account, UPI, or any other method. In such cases, CarCID will inform the customer as soon as possible and ensure the refund is processed within a reasonable time frame.
Cancellation by Customer
If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule an inspection, they must notify CarCID at least 4 hours in advance. For cancellations made within 3 hours of the scheduled inspection, the 50% advance payment will not be refunded. This non-refundable amount covers the time and resources allocated to the inspection.
If the inspection is delayed by more than 30 minutes due to circumstances on the customer’s end, such as the car not being available or ready at the agreed location, a 50% penalty of the complete inspection charges will apply. CarCID will then proceed with the inspection based on technician availability. If the inspection cannot be continued, the customer forfeits the advance payment.
Refund Process
If a refund is initiated by CarCID or the customer is eligible for one based on the terms above, the refund will be processed to the original source of payment. Refunds are typically completed within 10-15 business days based on the payment method used. The following table outlines the refund timelines:

ChargeBacks
Customers have the right to initiate a chargeback request through their debit or credit card provider or their bank if they believe unauthorized charges have occurred. CarCID will review chargeback requests in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective financial institution. CarCID is not liable for any delays or disputes arising from chargeback requests and reserves the right to review your account if any fraudulent activity is suspected.
Liability and Service Alternatives
CarCID’s liability is limited to refunding the amount paid for the service. No alternate service or product of equal monetary value will be provided in place of a canceled inspection. CarCID will not replace or substitute the service for any other reason unless agreed upon in exceptional cases.
In cases where a customer requests a refund or replacement based on dissatisfaction with the inspection, CarCID’s team will assess the situation and proceed according to the terms outlined. The decision made by CarCID in such cases will be considered final, and the customer agrees to this by proceeding with the service.
